Stubbers has the widest range of on site activities in the south east. Each activity session is 90 minutes and designed to maximise participation and eliminate waiting. Under the guidance of their instructor, young people are given the opportunity to take responsibility for safety management of both themselves and their group. Please note that an activity visit will include a variety of the activities below.

Ideal clothes to wear are: nylon based clothes lIke football tops with swimming costumes underneath.

Footwear needs to be enclosed, wet shoes or plimsolls are ideal,
flip flops or sandals are not permitted.

WHAT TO BRING FOR A DAY VISIT…

  • Wear old clothes that are appropriate for the weather (layers of clothing are recommended).
  • Complete change of clothes for water activities
  • Extra clothes as they might get cold even if it’s warm.
  • Spare shoes (enclosed footwear only).
  • Packed lunch with refillable bottle.
  • Waterproof jacket.
  • Towel and shower gel.

JEWELLERY
Jewellery can cause injury whilst participating in adventurous activities and should not be worn.


VALUABLE ITEMS
Please do not bring valuable
items such as MP3 players, mobile phones and jewellery.



WHAT TO BRING ON A RESIDENTIAL
(Based on a weeks stay)

  • Bag / suitcase containing:
  • Underwear x8.
  • Socks x8.
  • Swim wear x1.
  • Long trousers x3.
  • Short trousers x1.
  • T-Shirts x6.
  • Fleecy top or jumper x2.
  • Coat x1.
  • Sun hat / woolly hat + gloves.
  • Footwear for wet and dry activities.
  • Night wear.
  • Waterproof jacket.

WASH BAG CONTAINING

  • Soap / shower gel / shampoo.
  • Toothbrush + paste.
  • Towel x3.
  • Deodorant.


OTHER BITS

  • Bin Bags x2 for wet / dirty clothing.
  • Torch and spare batteries.
  • Pocket money (suggest no more than £15).

CAMPING IN A BUNK TENT:
Sleeping in bunk style beds, 8 to a tent.

  • Sleeping bag.
  • Pillow.
  • Blanket (it can be cold even in the summer).

CAMPING – SELF CATERING

  • Cup / mug, dinner plate, and bowl.
  • Knife, fork and spoon.
